Denney has carved out a distinct niche for himself in the vibrant landscape of dance music. Born and raised in the North of England, Denney’s journey into the world of music began at an early age. Influenced by the rich tapestry of sounds surrounding him, he developed a deep passion for electronic music, particularly drawn to the infectious rhythms of house and techno.
With a keen ear for melody and a natural flair for crafting dynamic sets, Denney quickly gained recognition within the electronic music scene. His ability to seamlessly blend genres and captivate audiences with his energetic performances earned him a dedicated following both in his local scene and beyond.
Denney’s breakout moment came with his track “Ultraviolet,” released on Jamie Jones’ prestigious label, Hot Creations .

The track garnered widespread acclaim, catapulting Denney into the global spotlight and solidifying his reputation as a rising star in the industry. Five years after their Crosstown Rebels release 'Raven', which earned strong support from BBC Radio 1's Danny Howard, UK DJ/producers Denney and D. Ramirez reunite in the studio for a fresh collaboration. Known for their standout solo releases on labels like Hot Creations, Rekids, and Toolroom, the pair have cultivated a diverse sound spanning house, techno, progressive, and beyond. Now, they return with 'Invisible', a shadowy two–track EP on Damian Lazarus' Rebellion imprint—diving into darker soundscapes, blending tumbling sonics and burrowing synthesisers.

"It took us five years to reunite in the studio, but we’re thrilled we did, and this EP is the result of those sessions. The tracks pay homage to the tribal house records we both love and are designed for those big, dark rooms.
