In this introduction I explain why I’ve chosen these 10 free plugins and why I believe every producer should have them in their toolkit. I’ll give you a quick overview of what we’ll cover and show you how these plugins can elevate your productions without costing a penny.

In this chapter I demonstrate Deelay by Sixth Sample, one of my favourite free delay plugins. I’ll show you how to create everything from clean rhythmic delays to creative reverse and lo-fi effects, while exploring the built-in modulation, distortion, presets and randomisation features that make this plugin so versatile.

Here I show you how Fresh Air can add clarity, brightness and presence to your mixes. I’ll demonstrate how I use it on vocals and other sounds to enhance high frequencies, improve definition and help important elements stand out without overcomplicating the mixing process.

In this chapter I explore Magic7, a fantastic free reverb plugin that delivers huge, high-quality spaces with minimal effort. I’ll demonstrate different presets and settings while showing you how I use reverb to create depth, width and atmosphere in electronic music productions.

I’ll show you why DJMFilter has become one of my go-to filter plugins. Inspired by the Pioneer DJM mixers, it’s perfect for creating smooth filter sweeps, DJ-style transitions and energetic build-ups, particularly in house and club music.

In this lesson I demonstrate how Skew V2 can transform ordinary sounds into unique, evolving textures using reverse delay processing. I’ll show you how I use subtle automation, presets and modulation to create movement, interest and creative transition effects.

This chapter focuses on adding warmth, character and analogue flavour to your productions. I’ll demonstrate how I use Tape Cassette 2 to introduce subtle saturation, tape noise and lo-fi textures that help tracks feel more alive without overwhelming the mix.

In this video I explore Pancake 2, an incredibly useful free panning plugin. I’ll show you how to create movement, stereo interest and rhythmic modulation using custom curves, presets and automation to make your productions feel more dynamic.

Here I introduce MG-1 by Cherry Audio, a fantastic free synthesizer packed with inspiring presets. I’ll demonstrate some of my favourite sounds, explain where it works best in house music and show you why it’s perfect for creating classic deep house, disco and electronic-inspired parts.

In this chapter I demonstrate BD-909 by Synsonic, a brilliant free kick drum instrument inspired by the legendary TR-909. I’ll show you how to shape punchy kick drums, adjust key parameters and create powerful low-end that works perfectly in house, techno and club productions.

To finish the course I introduce Vital, one of the most powerful free wavetable synthesizers available today. I’ll give you an overview of its workflow, presets, modulation system and sound design capabilities while showing why it’s one of the best free alternatives to premium synths like Serum.
