In this chapter, I take you through my workflow inside the DAW and show you how I export a track idea into Suno to start generating vocal and musical ideas. I demonstrate how to upload audio, set up prompts, and use AI-generated stems to inspire and build on an existing production.
In this chapter, I show you how I use OpenAI’s ChatGPT to quickly generate custom lyrics that fit the vibe of a track. I cover prompt writing, refining lyrics, reducing cheesy wording, and combining AI-written vocals with Suno to create more original and usable vocal ideas.
In this chapter, I explore the different vocal and instrumental ideas generated by Suno and explain how I evaluate, refine, and regenerate results to get closer to the sound I want. I also show how AI can inspire new arrangement ideas, percussion loops, and creative directions for your productions.
